Last week, a strong source was informed by an insider that Terence Crawford vs Errol Spence was a done deal for Feb 4th at the MGM Grand Garden Arena on Showtime.
Ironically, the MGM is booked by Tom Brown Promotions for a boxing event on February 4 by TGB Promotions. Keep in mind, Jermell Charlo vs. Tim Tszyu is the week before and will be aired via subscriber Showtime. Historically, Showtime usually uses a smaller event to help promote a PPV event the following week.
The aforementioned event isn’t Tank Davis vs Ryan Garcia because the promoter listed would be Mayweather Promotions
Furthermore, an ambiguous tweet was sent by Errol Spence at 2:05 PM ET suggesting that Crawford vs Spence was agreed upon.
Of course, it was reported last week the deal was in jeopardy.
Is Crawford vs Spence a done deal?
It’s not official but it’s sure looking like it.
