After graduating with a degree in Mass Communication in 2010 from Colorado Mesa University, Baker Geist has worked as a freelance sports writer since 2013 and has written many feature stories on a variety of different sports.

His first memory of a boxing match was watching Mike Tyson defeat Buster Mathis Jr. in 1995. Baker is an adamant follower of many sports, but his passion for boxing developed further after reading David Remnick’s biography on Muhammad Ali, King of the World while in college.

Since the height of the Manny Pacquiao Floyd Mayweather era in 2009, Baker’s passion and knowledge for boxing has continued to grow. He’s always excited to learn more about the sport and even more excited to bring another unique perspective to Fight Saga
