Manny Pacquiao won’t be able to use ‘Auto-tune’ in the ring on May 2 (Video)Written by Joseph Herron
Eight division world champion Manny Pacquiao just released his latest music video, “Lalaban Ako Para Sa Filipino”, which shows his genuine affinity for the people of the Philippines.
Despite rumors of an authentic hatred for his May 2 adversary, Manny’s adoring public continues to be his greatest motivation leading into each and every prizefight.
With God and Country by his side, the Pacman truly believes he will have the spiritual and emotional advantage when he battles Floyd Mayweather Jr. at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada.
And while the 36 year old fighter was able to use the studio device known as “Auto-tune” during the recording of his inspirational ballad to correct or disguise any “off-key” inaccuracies, the Filipino Congressman won’t be so fortunate in the ring against the recognized best pound for pound pugilist on the planet.
Perfection will be paramount in this crucial and pivotal bout.
Head trainer Freddie Roach believes his superstar fighter will have to put forth a flawless performance to earn a decisive victory in less than three weeks.
“Floyd will be a challenge on May 2,” insists the Hall of Fame trainer. “I have a great fighter, but we have to fight the perfect fight to win. I know that. We have to do certain things to win. We have to be a little bit meaner and a bit more feisty to get the victory against Mayweather.”
Although the seven-time trainer of the year understands the severity of this highly anticipated prizefight, Coach Freddie believes his man will rise to the occasion when he finally stands across the ring from Floyd Mayweather Jr.
“Manny will be treating the ring like a chess board,” claims Roach. “He’s going to be anticipating all of Floyd’s maneuvers, ready to cut him off and attack every time he sees an opening. I have all the confidence in the world that Manny is going to KO Floyd on May 2.”
