Floyd Mayweather gets knocked out by Manny Pacquiao…in stop motion videoWritten by Joseph Herron
In a recent media day press conference at Freddie Roach’s Wildcard Gym, the 54 year old Hall of Fame trainer stated to the press in attendance that his super star fighter, Manny Pacquiao, still possesses the speed, power, and ring intelligence to stop his May 2nd opponent, Floyd Mayweather Jr., within the distance of the scheduled twelve round championship bout.
Although most fighters, trainers, and ringside critics don’t believe a knock-out will happen for either fighter at the MGM’s Grand Garden Arena in just over two months, Pacman supporters currently have the opportunity to see their favorite pugilist deliver a KO blow to his ring nemesis in the attached, extraordinary stop-motion animated video made by talented independent filmmaker Dali Taichung of Taiwan.
Although the 2012 animated short is only 3 minutes in length, the incredible video took over two months to create and was made up of about 2,500 still photos, using action figures and various other props and effects.
In the video, the two likenesses engage in a heated exchange with boxing gloves, as well as Star Wars style lightsabers, with Manny Pacquiao ultimately getting the dramatic victory.
And while the 36 year old prizefighter will be technically heading into the highly anticipated event as the underdog, with bettings odds sitting at +200 for the Filipino icon on most Vegas sports books, the Pacman’s legion of international fans are hoping the Congressman can pull off the dramatic upset on May 2nd.
Will Manny Pacquiao be the first fighter to hand Floyd Mayweather Jr. his first professional loss? Is the incredible 2012 video short an ominous sign of bad things to come for Floyd Mayweather Jr.?
The world will finally witness the dramatic conclusion of this 6 year boxing drama on May 2nd!!
