Tonight's bout was a 4 round exhibition.

A former 1990s top 10 heavyweight, Golota, also 46, is the 'Father of Professional Polish Boxing' and a sports legend in Poland.

He had an impressive career as an amateur in Europe (111 wins), culminating in a Bronze Medal at the 1988 Olympics.

After marrying in 1990 he immigrated to Chicago where he intended to look for work as a truck driver. However, an immigration official guided him to a gym and Gołoty eventually turned pro in 1992 and became a top-level heavyweight in a decade full of talent in that division.

Gołota is remembered most for his epic 1990s bouts with Tim Witherspoon, Riddick Bowe and Lennox Lewis as well as subsequent fights with Michael Grant, Mike Tyson, Chris Byrd and John Ruiz in the early 2000s.
