Floyd Mayweather makes it rain in LA establishment (Video)

Written by
Welterweight and jr middleweight champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. (47-0, 26 knockouts), boxing's top star, was seen 'making it rain' last night at a Los Angeles strip club, according to TMZ.

Seemingly consumed with his perfect record and money, Mayweather, who carries an estimated worth of $290 million (according Celebrity Net Worth), usually drops upwards of $100,000 and more when visiting such nightspots.

However, although Floyd threw (literally) thousands of dollars bills into the air last night, it was a relatively cheap visit for him as his friends estimated he spent only $30,000.

The hard-working, freakishly-skilled fighter is also known for being a big gambler... Outside the ring, of course. On Super Bowl weekend last February, rumors spread that 'Money May' had bet a mind-blowing $10.4 million on the Denver Broncos who went on to lose to Seattle. Floyd denied the story.

He did, however, bet $815,000 to win $600,000 on Denver minus-7.5 against New York last week.

In September 2013, Floyd Mayweather took home a guaranteed $41.5 million (which did not include any residuals he may have received) for his September 14th bout with Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez. The blockbuster boxing event, The One: Mayweather vs Canelo, ranked as the highest-grossing pay-per-view of all time, garnering approximately $150 million in U.S. pay-per-view revenue.

Forbes' highest paid athlete in the world, it's believed Floyd Mayweather earned upwards of $90 million in 2013 and without any endorsements. And given episodes like last night, it may be awhile before we see him as the spokesperson for a major brand.
