Lucas Browne: "I will knock Tyson Fury and Dereck Chisora cold"

Written by
Australian monster Lucas Browne 19-0 (17 KOs) is hoping to get a shot at British heavyweight royalty.
"I'm hoping Chisora and Fury win this weekend," insisted the fighter dubbed "Big Daddy."

"However, let them both know that they can consider themselves hunted."

If Tyson Fury and countryman and rival Dereck Chisora win their respective bouts tonight, it will set up the blockbuster rematch this summer between the Brits, both of whom are looking to get a crack at heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko.

But Mr. Browne has other ideas.

"I want both of them this year. Send me a contract and I'll knock them out in 2014. The fans are behind me. I'm keen to punish both of them."

"I'm after both of them. Fury knows it, Chisora appears to not want to know anything about. He doesn't reply on Twitter. I can't blame him. They know I'll knock them cold."

If the winner of Fury vs Chisora 2, should it happen, doesn't get an immediate title shot, will he face Browne in an attempt to enhance his stock and position himself for bigger and better things?

Would a fight with Browne, who has a growing fan base, make sense for Fury or Chisora?

Matt Clark, Browne's manager, added: "We're all for it. Lucas wants Chisora and Fury and if we can set a date we're there. It's going to be a big year this year."

Last April, Browne soundly defeated over-the-hill, then-44 year old boxing legend James Toney (then 74-7-3, 45 KOs) in Melbourne, Australia. The scores were 117-111, 119-109 and 120-108.
