Juan Manuel Marquez vs Manny Pacquiao 5? 'Dinamita' refuses to budge

Written by
With Manny Pacquiao seemingly in a financial mess, his two biggest rivals refuse to grant him a super pay day.
Earlier this week, Floyd Mayweather said a fight with Pacquiao didn't make sense.

"Pacquiao is 1-2 in his last three fights. That's where we stand," stated the 'Money' man.

And now, former four division world champion Juan Manuel Marquez still insists there's nothing that can lure him back into the squared circle with fight legend Manny Pacquiao.

Eying a rematch with Tim Bradley, the 40 year old Marquez said via BoxingScene, "[The win over Pacquiao] is and always will be an unforgettable moment for me, for the fans."

"That is precisely why I think there is no point in a fifth fight although the promoters are pushing [for it]."

Hellbent on a rematch with WBO welterweight champion Tim Bradley, Marquez concluded, "I already did what I had to do by ending the fourth fight like that and that was the perfect ending. I want the people to keep the pride [of that win] and that feeling for life."

Ever since Juan Manuel Marquez, seemingly on the verge of defeat, heroically knocked out Manny in December 2012, he's stood firm in insisting there will never be another Pacquiao vs Marquez bout.

This is bad news for Pacquiao fans but worse for Manny, himself, as rumors swirl about his alleged $18 Million debt to the IRS as well as additional purported financial obligations and presumed setbacks.

Pacquiao will fight again on April 12th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Without Mayweather and Marquez in the picture as possible opponents, look for Team Pacquiao to consider Tim Bradley.
