Investigator Says Gatti Didn't Commit Suicide

Written by

Results of the findings of a ten-month investigation into the death of boxing legend Arturo Gatti will be officially unveiled at a press conference on August 30 in North Bergen, NJ. However, private investigator Paul Ciolino, who was hired by Gatti's manager Pat Lynch to investigate Gatti's death, told The Jersey Journal today that Gatti did not commit suicide as ruled by Brazilian authorities. "I think that when we get done with the press conference it will be pretty clear it was not a suicide," Ciolino told the paper. "It was not physically possible, given the circumstances and their (Brazilian police) theories."
