Wilder vs. Fury 2: Official PPV broadcast team named with full fight week scheduleHot
The rematch between Deontay Wilder and Tyson Fury is finally upon us, and both camps are finishing up their final preparations for the imminent showdown next Saturday night, February 22nd, from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada!
Get ready for an attack on the senses, with an entire week filled with everything fans need to know about the upcoming Heavyweight match-up to determine the WBC and The Ring's lineal Heavyweight championship.
To kick things off this Friday evening, February 14th at 9PM on ESPN, "Wilder vs. Fury 2: The Roundtable" will premier with replays all week long, featuring Joe Tessitore, Tim Bradley, Andre Ward and Max Kellerman, analyzing every important variable and factor involved within the highly touted match-up.
On Sunday, February 16th, 7PM ET "E60 with Jeremy Schaap" will conduct a revealing, in-depth interview with Tyson Fury, and discuss his career, road to the title, first fight with Deontay Wilder and current training camp with Javan "Sugar" Hill-Steward.
ESPN will also feature its flagship "SportsCenter" highlight program live from Las Vegas, Nevada all week long, starting on Tuesday, February 18th and concluding with a special post-fight edition of "SportsCenter live" immediately following the PPV presentation on Saturday, February 22nd.
On Tuesday, Feb. 18, FOX Sports 1 will broadcast their own 90-minute sports talk show, "Speak for Yourself", featuring Jason Whitlock and Marcellus Wiley also live from the MGM Grand.
Boxing analyst Max Kellerman will also host "Max on Boxing" on ESPN the entire week, starting on Tuesday, February 18th, with different featured guests participating in debates with Kellerman throughout each episode.
The final press conference for "Wilder vs. Fury 2" will air live on Wednesday, February 19th, at 4:30 PM ET on FOX Sports 1 and ESPN2, which will be hosted once again by Kate Abdo.
On February 20th and 21st, ESPN will air "First Take", featuring Stephen A. Smith, Molly Qerim and Max Kellerman, live from the MGM Grand with a start time at 10 AM ET, with a variety of featured guests from the entire sporting and entertainment community.
On Friday, February 21st, the Official Weigh-In for "Wilder vs. Fury 2" will be held inside the MGM Grand Garden Arena at 6 PM ET, and will be hosted by Joe Tessitore, Brian Kenny, Shawn Porter and Kate Abdo.
On Saturday afternoon, February 22nd, at 1 PM ET, ABC will broadcast a live one-hour preview for "Wilder vs Fury 2" to entice mainstream and casual sports fans who are currently "on the bubble" about purchasing the highly anticipated event. The special preview will be rebroadcast at 6 PM ET on "ESPNEWS".
Finally on Saturday, February 22nd, at 9PM ET, the primary announcers for the ESPN and FOX PPV presentation for "Wilder vs. Fury 2 PPV" will be Joe Tessitore (blow by blow), Lennox Lewis (color commentary), Andre Ward (color commentary) and Larry Hazzard Sr. (unofficial ringside scorer).
