Manny Pacquiao agrees to all terms for Floyd Mayweather super fight on May 2

It looks like the most highly anticipated fight in boxing is finally going to happen. According to RingTV.com, it's being reported eight division world champion Manny Pacquiao has agreed to every stipulation requested by Floyd Mayweather for a super fight to be held on May 2, at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada.

"We've agreed to the terms," Pacquiao adviser Michael Koncz informed RingTV.com. "

And once Floyd signs off, then the fight is on for May 2. We've agreed with Floyd's representative and now we're waiting for him."

According to the CEO of Top Rank, Inc, Bob Arum, both HBO and Showtime will be a part of the historic PPV broadcast. The last time the two rival networks put forth a collaborative effort for the benefit of the sport was in June of 2002, when Mike Tyson challenged Lennox Lewis for his WBC and IBF Heavyweight titles.

Both cable giants utilized their respective commentary teams during the bout, as well as both ring announcers Michael Buffer and Jimmy Lennon Jr. before and after the contest.

Although Arum originally objected to the mega fight landing on Cinco de Mayo weekend, Team Pacquiao made the concession to finalize the deal.

"I don't necessarily like the date," the Hall of Fame promoter told RingTV.com. "That date is a Mexican holiday, and it should be for a Mexican fighter. But Floyd wanted it on May 2nd, so we agreed to May 2nd."

Because all of Mayweather's conditions were met by Team Pacquiao and Top Rank, expect the official "Mayweather vs. Pacquiao" announcement to be made later this week while the media is in Las Vegas, Nevada, covering the January 17th Heavyweight contest between WBC Champion Bermane Stiverne and Deontay Wilder.
