Will the heavyweight showdown between David Haye and Tony Bellew be broadcast in the U.S.A?

Answer: Yes

Haye vs Bellew will, in fact, be aired on a U.S. network.

On Saturday afternoon, May 5th, Haye vs Bellew 2 will be broadcast live and exclusively in the States by the channel AWE, A Wealth of Entertainment.

The network announced that it secured the USA rights for the fight, which is the sequel to the unforgettable first bout on March 4, 2017.

“We’re ecstatic to be bringing this epic rematch to AWE viewers,” stated Charles Herring, president of AWE.

“This fight has broad appeal because the first bout, which aired on AWE, was one of the most amazing fights in 2017. It had a true “Rocky” feel, with Haye challenged by his injury. Bellew has broad appeal in the United States due to his appearance on the movie Creed."

"AWE loves heavyweights for their explosive power and exciting matches, and the winner should be in a position for a shot at a world title bout.”

AWE can also be found on these services…

  • DirecTV – Channel 387
  • AT&T U-verse – Channels 147 & 1147 (HD)
  • CenturyLink – Channels 114 & 1144 (HD)
  • Verizon FiOS – Channels 169 & 669 (HD)
  • Frontier Communications – Channels 169 & 669 (HD)

It can also be purchased at the App Store for just $2.99 for 30 days. In addition, the Haye vs Bellew 2 card will also be streamed live via KlowdTV on the AWE channel.

And finally, fans can stream AWE live on Roku.

In March 2017, Haye presumably entered his first bout with Bellew fight in a compromised state and appeared to worsen the injury, a ruptured or torn Achilles tendon, during the bout. And despite supposed insider claims that he's not fully healed, the Haymaker remains the favorite.

If a "healthy" Haye comes in between 215 and 220 pounds and isn't flat-footed, his explosiveness could give Bellew problems. After all, we've seen Tony tagged by lesser opposition with far less finesse and experience.

Remember how quick and awkward Haye was in his 2012 bout with Dereck Chisora? David weighed 210 pounds for that bout and looked sensational against his plodding foe as Chisora couldn't find the target.

Will we once again see fireworks from the explosive Haye or are we in store for another Bellew surprise?
