Who is this guy?

Rock started fighting at the age of 12. After losing a street fight to a neighborhood bully, his father introduced him to boxing.

The 6'5" 21 year old Rock turned pro in May 2016 and has been quite busy, fighting 11 times in 23 months,

“All of us at Roc Nation Sports are thrilled to have added Darmani Rock to our boxing family,” David Itskowitch, COO of Boxing Roc Nation Sports said in a press release in February 2016.

"He has the talent to become a force in a reinvigorated heavyweight division and for a 19-year-old heavyweight with his skill set, the sky is the limit.”

Incidentally, Roc Nation signed Rock around the same time they solidified deals with recently-retired fight legends Miguel Cotto and Andre Ward

In 2014, Rock won the USA Boxing Junior and Youth Open, Youth Continental and Youth World super heavyweight titles.

Rock is ranked No. 113 in the division by BoxRec and No. 27 among American heavyweights.
